Saint Teresa of Avila’s Message for Us Today: a new video reflection

On the feast of Saint Teresa of Jesus (of Avila), the British Province of Carmelites is delighted to publish the second video in its new Carmelite Spirituality Series on YouTube.

In these videos, Carmelite friars and friends of the Order offer short reflections on different aspects of Carmelite spirituality, or give a Carmelite perspective on various aspects of life, as part of the Province’s outreach during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The second video is on “Saint Teresa of Avila – Her Message for Us Today” and is presented by Sheila Grimwood, a member of the pastoral team at Aylesford Carmelite Priory in Kent, and an Executive Board member of The Carmelite Institute of Britain & Ireland. Sheila is conducting postgraduate study on Saint Teresa, and is the author of the biography A Portrait of Teresa of Avila from Her Letters.
